Champion Trade Steer backed by Trio Angus genetics

The results from the 2020 Colin Say & Co. Trade Carcase Competition are in – Champion Trade Carcase was an Angus cross steer sired by Trio Ultimate M121! The steer scored maximum points on Woolworth specifications for carcase weight, rib fat and rump fat. He also had a marble score 2 at just 12 months of age.

In addition, he was awarded the Virtual Taste Test Champion for the Trade Carcase section.

The steer was bred by Sprys Angus & Shorthorn, Wagga Wagga and prepared by Calrossy Anglican School, Tamworth.

All the animals in this competition were destined for the Sydney Royal, but once it was cancelled, this new competition was created.
